Stephen Pearcy
Q: Hi Raven,
I need a question answered. My boyfriend and I are both big Ratt fans,
he likes Jizzy, and I am way more into Stephen Pearcy. We were talking
and now I have this bet going that Stephen turned at least 48 on his
last birthday, July 3, 2004. He said Stephen is more like 38. I find
that kind of impossible, since his band Mickey Ratt was first started in
the late 1970's, and he was about in his mid 20's when Ratt hit it big
in the early 1980's.
Please help me if you can.

Thanks for taking the time to send me your question.
At first glance, I'd say you are right. A little simple math would tell
you if he were only 38 that Pearcy would have been just 16 when Ratt
officially formed in 1982. Highly unlikely.
After doing a bit of searching, I discovered that his date of birth is
July 3, 1959, which makes him 45.
So, he's a little younger than you thought, but definitely older than
your boyfriend thought.
